Boeing 747 First Commercial Flight (1970)

Hi Captain Lim,

I want to know if the age of an aircraft can make it unsafe. I want to know that because some American carriers use airplanes like Boeing 747/757/767 with 24-years-old on Transatlantic routes.

I will be very nervous knowing the aircraft that I'm traveling in the mid-Atlantic ocean is older than me!
