Pilot Interview Demo

Good evening Captain Lim,

The reason why I am writing to you is just to share my experience at attending the first interview at the Singapore Airlines Cadet Pilot Program. Cut to the chase, I did not make it to the next round of the interview.

But I have figured out the reasons as to why I was not selected to the next round:-

1. I did not bring all the required certificates along. This surely does not reflect so good on me as it showed how unprepared I was.

2. In the midst of confusion and feeling nervous, I did not shake hand with the lady (whom I reckon is an HR personnel)

3. I somehow ended up saying "Hmm..." Come to think about it, I did not sound confident enough.

4. Failing to answer questions about the aircraft and also perhaps for not asking the interviewers when I was given the chance to ask them, showed that I have not much interest about the company.

These are just some of the things that I managed to recall. Even so, I do not plan to give it up right here. I will keep on striving to be a pilot!

Thanks a lot Captain Lim!

Danial

Hi Danial,

Thanks for sharing your experiences with the other pilot wannabes.

Try a little harder next time and I hope you will make it one day!alt

All the best!
