Hi Capt LIm,

I am traveling to Australia on an Emirates Boeing 777 . I was able to pre-book our seats and as there were five of us I asked for the rear of cabin with a 3 and 2 seat configuration.(45, 46 respectively) My friend has since told me that the rear of the cabin is much noisier and now I wonder if I have done the right thing. Would you know?

Hi Gavin,

Yes the seats at the rear can be a bit noisy but they are not as bad as your friend has said. The good thing is, if the flight is not full, your chance of enjoying three seats to each person is better. So you can have a good rest at the back :-) !
