Where can I find the Airlines' Boeing 777 routes or capacity in the USA?

Hello Capt Lim,

Your site is extremely informative and I commend you. I have some fear of flying that has been exasperated by 9/11.

I, just as most other people who have a fear of flying, am acutely aware of my feelings during a flight and have concluded that I feel most comfortable in either a Boeing 777 or a smaller plane like a 328 Jet (32 seat).

My question is this. Is there an easy way to find out what are the routes of the Boeing 777 in America as well as whether they are filled to capacity. ( A half empty Boeing 777 may be bad for the airlines but it is heaven to me!)

Thanks for any information and also for those that you have already provided.

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

It is fairly easy to find out the routes of the Boeing 777 operated by the four major Airlines in the USA. They can be found in this site. Go to the Airlines page and click on "Routes and seating" and you would be able to see the technical details there. You can get the information for American, Continental, Delta and United Airlines indicating the destinations (in IATA three letter codes) they fly to.

As regards to whether the planes are filled to capacity, it may be a little difficult to find out because they are confidential information that the Airlines are reluctant to disclose to just about anyone.
